Huawei Mate 50
The price of Huawei Mate 50 in Egypt starts from 15,600 EGP for the storage model (128GB), and in Saudi Arabia it comes at 2,609 SAR for the same model. Available in Black, silver, purple, and orange.
Huawei has unveiled three new models of its high-end smartphones, the main features are Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and satellite connectivity. Called the BeiDou satellite messaging protocol, it basically allows users to send messages and location even without cellular coverage.
The Chinese company is the first to introduce this technology in its products, ahead of other companies such as Apple and Samsung.
The Mate 50 features a 6.7-inch 90Hz OLED display, 2700 x 1224 pixels with a selfie camera hole in the middle of the top of the screen.
Under the hood is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G processor that comes along with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
In terms of camera, the phone is equipped with a RYYB 50 MP IMX766 camera as the main sensor, a 12 MP IMX688 camera as a wide-angle camera, and a 12 MP 5x Telephoto lens. Both the zoom lens and the main camera feature OIS.
Huawei Mate 50 supports 66W ultra-fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
It has a 4,460mAh battery and is powered by Huawei's new operating system, Harmony OS 3, and features NFC support, IP68 water and dust resistance certification, 7.5W reverse wireless charging, and Bluetooth 5.2.
