The price of Huawei Mate 50 Pro starts from 990 USD, in Egypt at 18,879 EGP, and in Saudi Arabia it comes at 3,686 SAR for the 256 GB storage variant. It is available in four color variants which are Black, silver, purple and orange.
The Mate 50 Pro has a 6.74-inch OLED display with 10-bit color depth, 120Hz refresh rate, and a resolution of 1212 x 2616 pixels.
The phone is equipped with a 50-Megapixel main camera with OIS optical stabilization and a variable aperture lens from f/1.4 to f/4.0. It is complemented by a 13 MP wide-angle camera, a 64 MP Telephoto lens with an RYYB sensor, f/3.5 aperture, and optical stabilization.
As for the battery, it includes a 4700mAh battery with 66W wired charging capacity and 50W wireless charging.
The phone has an interesting feature which is “Emergency Mode”, which will allow you to use the phone in standby mode for 3 hours, even if it saves only 1% of the battery capacity. The selfie camera comes with a resolution of 13 Megapixels and supports 3D face unlock.
The second interesting feature is the support for satellite communication, which uses the navigation system (Beidou) and works only in China. This means that the phone can call even if it is not in the coverage of the mobile signal. We'll see in the future how this feature works for the global version.
The phone comes with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor in the 4G version and has 256/512GB of storage with support for NM memory cards up to 256GB.
